My Eyelashes =] AND Homecoming

My mom took this picture with her camera phone. You can kinda see how amazingly awesome they are...Its still not that great though. haha.

I showed this lady i work with at the newspaper, Hilda my eyelashes when i had them like this. A few days before she was in shock because of my eyelashes on a normal basis. She was convinced i was a model or something when she saw my eyes with Mascara. hahaha Now you all probably think I'm VERY lame for posting THIS much about my eyelashes...But i consider my eyes my very best feature, so i gotta flaunt what i got!! hahahaha JK

So...Moving on from my eyelashes.... For the homecoming skit, my best friend Hannah and I volunteered to make a script. We spent like two hours coming up with ideas, then writing them down. It was a very satisfying skit. BUT... When we were having a meeting about it, this one guy pretty much changed the WHOLE thing! Needless to say Hannah and I were pretty P.O.(ed)cause they wouldn't even listen to us explain our idea, our script. (Ms. Painter gave us extra credit for it though when she read it, so its all good =]) Then when we had another meeting, or practice i should say...And they changed it AGAIN. But this new idea that they changed it to was actually better then the second. Still not quite as good as the first. Then we had to change it, YET AGAIN, because we had Matt Ramsay gay in the skit. =D hahahaha. Anyways. The final product actually turned out pretty good. I was really surprised. Our skit was way better then the Seniors skit (who won of course) but whatever. We knew we wouldn't win as freshman anyways. (My favorite skit was the Sophmores)
A quick re-cap of our finished product for all those who didn't have the pleasure of seeing it haha. A football player falls asleep in class and has a nightmare about the homecoming game, were all the football players (but him) are girls and SUCK. Then the "Rich Rebels" come out and capture them! The Rich Caption and him banter *would be gay here* then start to almost fight. They then they decide to settle it as "real men" hahaha So he pulls out his Rubik cube. The football player makes a big deal about how he doesn't have a Rubik's cube! And the Rich Captain says "Don't worry, i carry two at ALL times." he hands the football player the Rubik's cube and a random ref walks onstage..............

Hahaha Oh ya! I was the random fat ref!! I come (cheers in the background, lol. I almost lost it in uncontrollable laughter) yell a "GO!" then continue to walk offstage. Although while i am walking i "fall" and muh best friend Hannah runs stage and rolls me off. It was a had to be there moment, but i bet it's still pretty funny to hear about. Rich Rebel "wins" and they do something along the lines of BUT RICH NEVER WINS! (and they didnt, btw) Then he wakes up in class, and goes to win the game!! It wasnt the best skit, but who cares.
The whole week was Awesome!! I love homecoming week. Full of happiness, silliness, WINNING!!! I was worried about this game, but after the pep rally, i kinda knew we were going to win. THEN i knew FOR SURE, when the Rich Rebels were doing jumping jacks or something on OUR K. Then the football players did their thing where they walk in lines and say things that sound like grunts... But when they started doing that, the Rich Rebels ran back to their side of the feild. It was very symbolic to me. Very Epic. The game was a great one, very VERY intense. I had a fantastic time. :] Then after the game there was the dance. But i didnt go. Instead one of my other bestfriends Calli and I went back to her house and watched Psych! Which is one of my favorite shows. Calli got me hooked. And she has about four days worth of Psych's on her Dish so we pretty much watched that the whole time.

Blast From The Past

So as uh... Most everyone knows, this week is Homecoming!! *Cheers in the background WHOOOOO* And today everyone was dressed up from the past-Or a few did... Not many dressed up today. But my mom and I had fun last night and this morning making me an "80's Girl" Um... Why did girls make their hair so huge in the 80's?? Haha My hair was too heavy so it deflated after like no time at all. And i refused to cut bangs just so i could have "80's" bangs.=]It was pretty fun, and i think most people liked my whole outfit, hair and makeup. I didn't win the contest thing though, but that's OK. I didn't dress up to win. :]
Believe it or not i have never worn makeup. And when i say never, i mean never. So when my mom put all this makeup on me this morning i was AMAZED! I have CRAZY long eyelashes, I've always known that. But you should see my eyes with mascara. Most people thought they were fake. I was trying to take a picture of my eye's earlier but it didn't work.

(A picture more of my face, the picture above didn't really focus on my face)

So i decided to post some pictures more of my past....

New York *part two*

So i haven't posted about New York for...A while.

~More from Thursday of the trip~ After we went on the ferry to go around the statue we got back on our tour bus. Merrill fell asleep. It had been a Long day! I woke him up when we passed the Trump Tower to tell him that Derek Jeter and this other hot shot Yankee played lived there.
We saw the Wicked Theater:

We didn't go to Wicked. I really wanted to, but my parents thought that because we have already seen it twice that we should see some other shows... Then i saw this thing that was like WICKED BEHIND THE SCENES where you could go and they take you backstage, give you a tour. They would show some original costumes, and i freaked out! Even though I knew that i couldn't go because it was only Saturday and we already had our plans for then...Plus you would probably would have had to get tickets in advance or something. BUT i thought it was WAY cool they had something like that. Someday i would like to do that. Or maybe when I'm on Wicked someday I can just go there-i wish!

As we came into Times Square we could see the Hersey's store place.

I was drooling! ha ha just kidding.
Fittingly, right across from the Hershey's was M&M's:

Now i was really foaming at the mouth! haha just kiddin

We got off and went to Olive Garden. It was a very different Olive Garden then i have ever been in. It had three levels. When we walked in my dad asked what the wait was. And after a long day of walking site seeing, being a tourist... We were all pretty worn out. She said it was about twenty minutes. But when she asked how many people we had and we said Four, she seated us and so we didn't have to stand and wait around. our waiter was horrible but the food was good. At one point we needed more bread sticks and our waiter was just staring out the window... Suddenly Merrill started laughing and he came over. Merrill said he was motioning for him to come over at his reflection in the glass. It was funny. We were glad we went when we did because after we came they suddenly got a lot of people! I think they just wanted to be in the same place as us. ;)

After we ate we walked over to the Little Mermaid. I have a book with pictures and things of the show. I really loved it! It wasn't Wicked, but i still really enjoyed it! So you should come over and look at my book sometime, because its really interesting and cool. They had heelys to make it look like they were swimming. Waved their arms to make the appearance too. Sierra Boggess, the Ariel has an AMAZING voice! Shows like this BLOW my mind. The LIVE music! I just want to watch the show, then come back and watch the pit Orchestra! I mean, how Awesome would it be for that to be your job? Playing your instrument for an amazing show like that!

After the show we headed back to the hotel via subway. Our hotel was about three blocks from the subway station. I never thought i was paranoid until we had to walk three blocks, at night, in New York. We walked past a couple Bars, a Few scary looking people... That just really scared me! We made it back alive though.

It was very nice to rest after a long day in the City!

Uh...More to come!
