New York *part two*

So i haven't posted about New York for...A while.

~More from Thursday of the trip~ After we went on the ferry to go around the statue we got back on our tour bus. Merrill fell asleep. It had been a Long day! I woke him up when we passed the Trump Tower to tell him that Derek Jeter and this other hot shot Yankee played lived there.
We saw the Wicked Theater:

We didn't go to Wicked. I really wanted to, but my parents thought that because we have already seen it twice that we should see some other shows... Then i saw this thing that was like WICKED BEHIND THE SCENES where you could go and they take you backstage, give you a tour. They would show some original costumes, and i freaked out! Even though I knew that i couldn't go because it was only Saturday and we already had our plans for then...Plus you would probably would have had to get tickets in advance or something. BUT i thought it was WAY cool they had something like that. Someday i would like to do that. Or maybe when I'm on Wicked someday I can just go there-i wish!

As we came into Times Square we could see the Hersey's store place.

I was drooling! ha ha just kidding.
Fittingly, right across from the Hershey's was M&M's:

Now i was really foaming at the mouth! haha just kiddin

We got off and went to Olive Garden. It was a very different Olive Garden then i have ever been in. It had three levels. When we walked in my dad asked what the wait was. And after a long day of walking site seeing, being a tourist... We were all pretty worn out. She said it was about twenty minutes. But when she asked how many people we had and we said Four, she seated us and so we didn't have to stand and wait around. our waiter was horrible but the food was good. At one point we needed more bread sticks and our waiter was just staring out the window... Suddenly Merrill started laughing and he came over. Merrill said he was motioning for him to come over at his reflection in the glass. It was funny. We were glad we went when we did because after we came they suddenly got a lot of people! I think they just wanted to be in the same place as us. ;)

After we ate we walked over to the Little Mermaid. I have a book with pictures and things of the show. I really loved it! It wasn't Wicked, but i still really enjoyed it! So you should come over and look at my book sometime, because its really interesting and cool. They had heelys to make it look like they were swimming. Waved their arms to make the appearance too. Sierra Boggess, the Ariel has an AMAZING voice! Shows like this BLOW my mind. The LIVE music! I just want to watch the show, then come back and watch the pit Orchestra! I mean, how Awesome would it be for that to be your job? Playing your instrument for an amazing show like that!

After the show we headed back to the hotel via subway. Our hotel was about three blocks from the subway station. I never thought i was paranoid until we had to walk three blocks, at night, in New York. We walked past a couple Bars, a Few scary looking people... That just really scared me! We made it back alive though.

It was very nice to rest after a long day in the City!

Uh...More to come!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Did you know that Wicked is coming to Salt Lake at the Capitol Theater next April? I think they are playing there April 5 - May 1 or something like that. Tickets go on sale December 5.
