Did you know that I was once an angel?

Yes! It's true! I was once an angel. (besides the angel that I am allll the time. hehe)

A few weeks...okay months...Ago when i updated my blog, i wanted to be sure to post about being an angel!! But that didnt happen, so here is my "Fun Size!" blog post about being an angel. :] (sorry, my camera's quality sucks)

My young women's was invited to go be in the Live Nativity at Tuacon at the beginning of December! And I got really excited because me, being the dramatic person i am, was all over the idea of being on a stage like that! So we went to Tuacon, and it was the best!! There was such a spirit, just being apart of it, and being an angel. Because I was an angel when Jesus was born! The whole thing was really spiritual, and fun.

The ride up!

The Dressing Room! (dont think I'm lame for this picture, it was really cool!)

So heres the thing, there were many angels, but i was one of two that was a trumpeting angel. Now, this is a high, high honor, and please don't confuse me with a normal angel. ;) But i let Emma borrow it for one moment during a photo opt so that Maddie Lydia and i could pose,
Us Being Awesome! (Me Maddie and Lydia were angels, and Marissa was a townsperson!)

And we had to get a Charlies Angel pose!

X-Press! and Honor Choir!

I loveee being apart of X-Press. I've watched the High School X-Press sing for most of my life, and every second of it yearned for the day when I would be in X-Press! Well that has come this year. The only downer is that all my good friends that I've been wanting to be in with are leaving me next year. So I'm trying to enjoy every second of it!!

HHHHHONOR CHOIR!

This was seriously the best thing every. I loved every second of it and would go back and do it all again in a heartbeat-and am hoping too! Honor choir is when high school students across the state come together. There is a women’s choir and a men’s choir. I believe there were around 700 people in the choir all together. I hope that next year I can do it again, seriously the concert was amazing.

So there was an all day practice Friday, and the concert was Saturday. In the beginning, I felt really weird because I was sitting by these weird girls that already seemed to be friends...or was just weird. But after singing amazing songs and having a few bonding moments, I became really good friends with two girls next to me. We had a blast and I wish I could have gotten a picture with them. It's funny because one girl, Josee, is a cheerleader at Parowan so I was able to see her again at a Kanab vs. Parowan game awhile ago.

Kelsie and I during the practice day at Taylorsville High school....We look possessed or something!

All the girls except for some soprano 1's and Alto 2's. At Abravanel Hall

Kelsie and I were in the Balcony which was sad, because Mrs. Tawa didn’t lead to us only the people in front of her, and we felt very excluded from the group, no lights were on us, we were just the dark sopranos, and yeah... But we sat by some pretty interesting girls! It was fun up there because we actually had seats, which came in handy for the rehearsal!

Mrs. Tawa!! She was amaaaazing :D

All the boys!!

After the concert, all of the people who went in X-Press (minus Ian who got sick)

Also, My cousin Jess came and hung out with me and had a sleepover while we were up here, It was a lot of fun and I'm glad she came and supported me :]
